On Hearing Maynard Ferguson Play the Trumpet

He took a deep breathe and he blew into his trumpet:

Spontaneous combustion!

Flaming lava poured from the bell of his horn!

Plasma Jazzma!

Power and Passion fused!

Good God Almighty could that man play!
