Amid the Christmas riot,
I yearn for peace and quiet.
For me the ideal present
Is lovely peace from heaven.


Our Father above sent his Son to the earth.
His infinite love gave us chance at new birth.
A newly born child,
So meek and so mild,
The gift of his life gives us reason for mirth.
